Update: This seems to be image of HTC One Max from 2013
During the recently held 5G Industry Alliance event in Taiwan, HTC had showcased an unknown smartphone. The upper and lower bezels of the mysterious smartphone were covered because of which only the display of the phone was visible. Rumors claimed that it could be the upcoming HTC U12 smartphone that is codenamed as HTC Imagine. Today, a fresh image of the same smartphone seems to have appeared. However, this time around, the handset’s front has been revealed completely.
The alleged HTC U12 phone that can be seen in the above image has very slim side bezels. The upper and lower bezels are a bit thick and they seem to be feature BoomSound speakers. A very prominent selfie camera is available on the top bezel of the phone. Nothing much is known on the specifications of the phone. However, it could be sporting a 6-inch FHD+ resolution display, Snapdragon 845 chipset and it is pegged to carry support for 5G connectivity.
The HTC U12 is expected to continue with Liquid Surface design like the U11+. The rear side of the phone could be featuring a fingerprint scanner. After U11, HTC had improved the Edge Sense experience on U11+. It is likely that the U12 would be arriving with an enhanced pressure-sensitive frame. More information on the specifications of the smartphone is expected to appear in the near future. Like the U11, the U12 may debut in May this year.
