Huawei Enjoy Z goes official with MediaTek Dimensity 800, 48MP Triple-cameras & 22.5W fast-charging

As scheduled, Huawei has unwrapped a brand new 5G mid-ranger smartphone known as the Enjoy Z during an online launch event today. Tagged with a starting price of just 1,699 Yuan (US$238), the Huawei Enjoy Z is currently one of the cheapest 5G smartphone available in the market.

Just like most other “Enjoy” series smartphones, the Huawei Enjoy Z also features a dewdrop-notch display which measures 6.5-inches diagonally. The front display is a LCD panel which is able to support FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate.

At the back, the Huawei Enjoy Z will come with a rectangular camera module on its top-corner which play host to a modest triple-camera setup. These cameras include a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. Its camera department will be completed with a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

Under the hood, the Enjoy Z is powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC which allows the device to support 5G connectivity for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. This will be assisted by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

To keep its lights on, there will be a 4,000mAh battery available at the helm which supports up to 22.5W fast-charging. As usual, the device will boot on the latest EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).

For those who’re interested, there are a total of 3 different colorways to choose from including Magic Night Black, Deep Sea Blue, as well as Sakura Snow.

In terms of pricing, the Huawei Enjoy Z will be priced at 1,699 Yuan (US$238), 1,899 Yuan (US$379) and 2,199 Yuan (US$439) respectively for its 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models.
