Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology that was unleashed alongside the Honor Play and Honor 9i smartphones will be soon coming to other mid-range and flagship phones from Huawei and Honor. The Chinese manufacturer has today confirmed on the list of smartphones that will be blessed with technology that can boost the graphics performance by 60 percent. The GPU Turbo technology will be coming to the confirmed devices through a software update.
In August, Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate RS and Honor 10 will be getting the GPU Turbo Technology. In September, the update will be arriving to P20 Lite, Honor 9 Lite and Honor V10 Lite. All the above smartphone users in regions like Europe, Russia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa will be updated with GPU Turbo. Huawei P20 Lite users in Russia won’t be getting the update.
In September, Huawei P Smart, Nova 2i, Mate 10 Lite, Y9 2018 and Honor 7X users from all regions will get the GPU Turbo update. Lastly, Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, P10 Plus, P10, Honor 8 Pro and Honor 9 users from all markets the advanced graphics improvement feature.
The best testing of GPU Turbo technology update for Mate 10 and Honor 10 have begun. In the coming days, the P20 and P20 Pro are also expected to receive the beta update.
