The Huawei Honor 8 which was announced back in July 11 has confirmed to land in the US on August 16 as the Chinese manufacturer has begun sending out invites to their launch event held in San Francisco.
Of course, this will be Huawei’s latest attempt to replicate the past success of their Honor 5X in the US. The success of the Honor series is mainly contributed by its affordable price tag coupled with a promising specs sheet and premium looking design – which absolutely blurred the line of what should be deemed as a flagship device. Although it was not mentioned, but we do expect the price of the Honor 8 to start from at least $350 in the US market.
Just in case you haven’t been following the news, yesterday we reported that the Honor 8 had fetched more than 5 million registrations in the Chinese market in less than 4 days. However, will they be able to score as well in the US this time round? We’ll probably have to wait and see…
