According to latest reports from China, the much anticipated Huawei Honor 8 has been slated to be announced in 2 days time, on June 25. The device however, will only be officially launched in China on July 5th and will hit the Chinese market somewhere during December.
Sources close to the Chinese smartphone giant has also confirmed that the latest flagship will be coming with a 5.2″ FHD display powered by a Snapdragon 955 SoC alongside 4GB of RAM. Similar to the Honor V8, the Honor 8 will also come with a 12MP main shooter and a 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
What’s incredible is that unlike other Honor flagships, the Honor 8 will have a dual-camera setup similar to what the upcoming Galaxy S8 tipped to be coming along. Likewise, we can also expect the device to come with a fingerprint sensor at its rear.
Prices for the Honor 8 is tipped to start from just RMB1,999.
