Although Huawei has been placed in a difficult landscape following it’s addition to the US Entity List, but that doesn’t stop the Chinese smartphone maker from keeping their update promises.
According to various reports, the highly anticipated EMUI 10 update has been rolled out to Mate 20 Pro devices in the Netherlands. This update, which comes with a build number 10.0.0.136, will bring all the Android 10 goodies and the September 2019 security patch to the Mate 30 Pro.
It’s good to know that the update carries a hefty file size weighing over 4.4GB – so make sure you’re connected to the Wi-Fi before you embark on the updating process. Similar to most other OTA updates, the current EMUI 10 update will also be carried out in several phases, therefore some markets may receive the same update at a slighter later date.
After the Mate 20 Pro, we do expect the other smartphones in the Mate 20 series, including Mate 20, Mate 20 X (4G), and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design to be the next in line to receive the EMUI 10 treat.
