Huawei Mate 30 Series will be Announced in China on September 26th

As usual, Huawei will be holding a separate launch event for their latest Mate 30 iteration in China on September 26th later this week. Although we’d already learned most of the things we need to know about the Mate 30 series, but there may be some surprise in store during the China launch event.

Perhaps, Huawei may introduce additional models for the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, which had been spotted over at it’s official TENAA listing. For those who still remember, Huawei only announced a single model for both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro during it’s recent launch event in Munich. The Mate 30 is available only in a 8GB+128GB configuration, while the Mate 30 Pro with an upgraded 8GB+256GB setup.

However, their product listing over at JD.com and Vmall have both revealed that the Mate 30 will have another model with 6GB+128GB configuration, while the Mate 30 Pro will also have a 8GB+128GB model as well.

Both of these models had not been made official on the global stage, but will probably make their debut in China. Furthermore, if the information listed at TENAA is accurate, then we might perhaps see a top-end model of the Mate 30 Pro with a hefty 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.

Other than that, we might also see some exclusive color options which are available only to the home market – a tradition which Chinese smartphone makers tend to practice.
