Back in November when the Huawei Mate 9 was unveiled, there isn’t any news that the device will be coming in a 6GB version. Today however, a 6GB version of the Mate 9 had been spotted at Amazon which also comes with a 128GB native storage space onboard. Unlike the base model, the bumped up version come with a hefty price tag of $880 up from just $660.
Besides the improved hardware under its memory compartment, other key specs remain similar to the base model. Quite surprisingly, this version isn’t exclusive only to the Chinese market since most China manufacturer tend to release certain version exclusive to their home market. During the CES event earlier this month, Huawei snagged several awards owing to their newly announced Mate 9 which makes them one of the most successful Chinese manufacturer so far.
Last month, the Huawei P10 flagship also reportedly crossed the 10 million sales mark and we shall see if the Mate 9 or the upcoming P10 could replicate its success this year.
