Recent reports had revealed that Huawei is working on the launch of a new tablet called Huawei MatePad 10.4. It is a lighter edition of the MatePad Pro tablet that features the Kirin 990 5G flagship chipset. The MatePad 10.4 is now for pre-orders on Vmall.
The MatePad 10.4 listing on Vmall states that it will be debuting on April 23. Customers in China who are interested to avail the device can book it by paying a small amount of 100 Yuan ($14). The final payment can be done on April 26. The shipments of the tablet will begin on the same date. The Chinese firm will be holding a launch event for the MatePad 10.4 on April 23.
The MatePad 10.4 comes in Fritillary White color edition. The variants of the tablet are 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage (Wi-Fi only), 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage (Wi-Fi only) and the 4G-ready 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. There is no 5G version of the device.

The MatePad 10.4 has a 10.4-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 1200 x 2000 pixels resolution. The Kirin 810 chipset powers the device with up to 6 GB of RAM. The device offers up to 128 GB of storage. The EMUI 10.1 flavored Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the MatePad 10.4.
The MatePad 10.4 has an 8-megapixel camera on its rear. Its front is also fitted with an 8-megapixel shooter. The device draws power from a 7,250mAh battery. It carries support M Pen stylus and Bluetooth keyboard.
