Huawei will be launching the Huawei Nova 6 series of smartphones on Dec. 6 in China. The series will include 4G and 5G editions of the Nova 6 smartphone. A new leak that carries hands-on shots of the Nova 6 has revealed the entire specs of its 4G and 5G variants.
According to the leak, the Huawei Nova 6 (4G LTE edition) features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display that offers 20:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2400 pixels full HD+ resolution. It is powered by Kirin 990 chipset and features a 4,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
When it comes to photography, the Nova 6 features a 32-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera setup made available through a punch-hole cutout on the screen. The triple camera setup on its back has a f/1.8 aperture 40-megapixel main lens, an f/2.4 aperture 8-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and an f/2.4 aperture 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It is loaded with EMUI 10 based Android 10 OS. The handset measures 162.6 x 75.7 x 8.56mm and it weigh 197 grams.
On the other side, the Huawei Nova 6 5G measures 162.7 x 75.8 x 8.98mm and it weighs 212 grams. It is powered by Kirin 990 chipset and Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G connectivity. It has a slightly large-sized battery with 40W fast charging support. Both phones have side-mounted fingerprint readers. The rest of its specs are identical with its 4G variant. The leak has no information on the pricing of the phone.
