Redmi K30 Confirmed to be Powered by Qualcomm Chipset

Redmi had recently confirmed that the Redmi K30 will be made official on Dec. 10. Rumors are rife that the company will announce the 4G and 5G flavors of the Redmi K30 at the next week’s event. Rumors surrounding the Redmi K30 5G have claimed that it could be fueled by the upcoming Snapdragon 735 5G chipset. Today, Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi K30 5G will be fueled by a 5G chipset from Qualcomm. Being a mid-ranger, the K30 5G could be indeed powered by the SD735 5G chipset that is expected to go official this week.

The other teasers apart from the one shown above confirms that the Redmi K30 5G with the new Qualcomm 5G chipset will support dual-mode 5G. The company claims that the Redmi K30 5G uses a new structural design and RF solution to make 5G signals through its 12 antennas. The company dubs the phone has ‘5G pioneer’ has the phone can connect to 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks simultaneously and also it can connect o 5G network.

The exact specs of the Redmi K30 5G phone is currently under the wraps. The rumor mill has already leaked the specs of its 4G variant. It may feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a pill-shaped cutout for 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual frontal snappers. It may come with 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system. It may come with up 6 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB storage. It may house a 27W fast charging enabled 4,500mAh battery.
