Huawei will be unveiling their latest Huawei Nova 6 smartphone series in China on December 5th. However, besides the Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G duo, it seems like Huawei has another surprise under their sleeves – Nova 6 SE.
Unlike the Huawei Nova 6, the Nova 6 SE is expected to be a more affordable variant with watered-down specs and a redesigned rear camera module.
As seen from the leaked promo materials above, the Nova 6 SE is touted to arrive with a kirin 810 SoC, instead of the flagship Kirin 990 SoC. However, it will still maintain the same 40W fast-charging as the Nova 6.
Moving on, the Nova 6 SE will only feature a single selfie-camera on the front display. The Nova 6 on the other hand, has a capsule-shaped punch hole compartment that houses two selfie-cameras. Similarly, there is also a presence of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
On the rear-side, we could see a redesigned iPhone 11 Pro-like, squarish camera module which houses 4 camera sensors. In comparison, the Nova 6 will coming with a more “typical” vertically-aligned camera setup.
In related news, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be unveiling their latest V30 flagship series tomorrow.
