Yesterday, Huawei had released the first video teaser for the Nova 6 5G smartphone. Rumors surrounding the phone have claimed that the Nova 6 5G will be made official in December. Huawei has finally confirmed through an invitation that it will be holding an unveil event on Dec. 5 to announce the new member of the Nova family.
The invitation clearly reveals that the Nova 6 5G will be a selfie-centric phone. The device is equipped with a display that has a pill-shaped camera cutout at its the top-left corner.
It was confirmed yesterday by the Chinese manufacturer that the Nova 6 5G will be able to capture wider selfie shots as it is equipped with 105-degree superwide lens. A careful look at the right edge of the phone reveals that the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
There is no concrete information on the specifications of the Nova 6 5G. The 3C certification of the phone have revealed that the Nova 6 will be available in 4G and 5G variants. The 5G model will support dual-mode 5G in China. Rumors have it that the rear-mounted camera system of the phone may have Sony IMX686 primary lens.
