Huawei is all set to unleash the Nova 8 series of smartphones on Dec. 23 in China. Last month, the company announced the Nova 8 SE smartphone, and it will be unleashing the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro with more powerful specs. Leaked posters of the upcoming Nova 8 series are now doing rounds on Weibo.
The first poster shows a Chinese celebrity endorsing the Huawei Nova 8 series phone. The handset sports a unique oval-shaped camera module with a large-sized lens at the top followed by three other lenses and an LED flash.
In the second image, the handset can be seen in blue and gradient pink color options, and is likely to be the Nova 8 Pro due to the presence of a curved display that comes with a dual front-facing camera.
Moreover, the same poster also confirmed confirmed that the Nova 8 series will be coming with key specs like 120Hz refresh rate, 66W fast charging, Vlogging through dual front-facing cameras, and 5G support.
Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
Leaked information shared by the same tipster yesterday revealed that the Nova 8 has a 90Hz OLED curved screen, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel quad camera system, Kirin 985 chipset, 3D hyperboloid glass body with a thickness of 7.64mm, and 66W fast charging support. It is expected to arrive in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions.
The Nova 8 Pro on the other hand, is tipped to feature a 120Hz OLED curved display, 32-megapixel dual selfie cameras, a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup, Kirin 985 chipset, 66W fast charging. It is expected to arrive in the same two variants as the vanilla model.
