We’d already been hearing about the upcoming Huawei Nova 8 series for quite some time and now we’re finally having some information with regards to its launch date.
According to a reputable Chinese leaker, the upcoming Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro could be making their official debut on December 23rd which will mark the company’s final launch event this year. Subsequently, the duo will go on their first sale in the Chinese market as early as December 30th.
Although there isn’t much details about their official specs, but both the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro are expected to arrive with better specs than the Nova 8 SE which was launched back in the Chinese market last month.
Based on recent reports, the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro are also likely to retain an OLED display which will feature at least 90Hz screen refresh rate. Likewise, its recent 3C certification had also revealed that the duo will be equipped with a 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast-charging technology which is also found in the flagship Huawei Mate 40 Pro (Review).
In terms of pricing, the Huawei Nova 8 is tipped to cost around 3,000 Yuan (US$459), while the higher-end Nova 8 Pro settles at around 4,000 Yuan (US$612).
