Huawei launched it’s mid-range Nova 9 model in the global market back in October last year. Now, a new report apparently suggests that the company will soon be adding another model to it’s Nova 9 series lineup known as the Huawei Nova 9 SE.
In addition to that, the report also revealed most of the Nova 9 SE’s key specs along with it’s official renders which gave us a good idea on what to expect on this upcoming handset.
Starting with the front, the Nova 9 SE is said to build around a 6.78” IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution with an unspecified refresh rate. A centered hole-punch cutout is also present to accommodate it’s 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
As seen from the renders, the rear side of the phone retains a similar design language which includes the signature oval-shaped camera island which houses a quad-camera system consisting of a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 9 SE is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which carries support for storage expansion via a microSD card.
Moving on. the device is also expected to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports an unrevealed fast-charging speed. The phone as usual, is likely to be shipped with EMUI 12 based on Android 11 OS right off the box.
Anyway, the Huawei Nova 9 SE is tipped to be priced between €250 – €280 in the European market. What’s left unknown right now is the official launch date for this device.
