It has been quite some time since Huawei announced the Nova 8 series smartphone back in December last year. Now, a new leak out of Chinese Weibo has suggested that the company could be launching the brand new Nova 8 series smartphones somewhere in mid-September next month.
Although there isn’t much information divulged about the Nova 9 series smartphones, but the same leak did claimed that the devices will come with comparatively better design than the recently announced Honor 50 series smartphones.
While the Nova 9 series was also said to pack 5G connectivity, it’s processing power is actually said to be slightly sub-par when compared to the Honor 50 series phones. Since these are 5G models, it’s likely that the Nova 9 series smartphones will be arriving with some older Kirin chipset under the hood.
For those who’d missed out, Huawei recently announced the Huawei Nova 8 4G and Huawei Nova 8i 4G smartphones in the global market which are powered by Kirin 820E and Snapdragon 662 chipsets respectively.
