Huawei has silently unveiled the Huawei nova Y70 Plus smartphone in South Africa. The handset is now listed on Huawei’s South African website with its key specifications and pricing. Here is all the information on the new mid-ranger from Huawei.

To begin with, the Huawei nova Y70 Plus has a massive 6.75-inch display with a teardrop notch. It is unclear whether the device supports an HD+ or an FHD+ resolution. The company claims that the device offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.26 percent.
The front side of the device has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for snapping selfies. The oval-shaped camera module on the back has a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It is coupled with a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree FOV and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Huawei is yet to confirm the name of the chipset that powers the nova Y70 Plus. Huawei phones are still not shipping with Google apps and services. So, the phone will come equipped with the company’s own AppGallery for downloading apps.
The Huawei nova Y70 Plus packs a huge 6,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. While there is no word on the RAM size of the device, it will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices in South Africa.

The Huawei nova Y70 Plus is now up for pre-order between April 21 and April 30 in South Africa with a deposit of ZAR 99 ($6). It will go on sale on May 1. It is priced at ZAR 5,499 ($365). When the balance amount is paid between April 28 and May 6, customers will get a discount of ZAR 499 ($33). The exact price of the device is not known yet. It comes in Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black colors.
