After rolling out the EMUI 9.1 update to the Huawei Mate 20 X last week, Huawei is now ready to roll out the same update to their next flagship devices – Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
This update is already available in a number of countries and will be extended to more markets in the coming weeks.
Some of the key features accompanying the update includes:
- One-touch music videos
- Video ringtones for specific contacts
- GPU Turbo 3.0 for smooth and speedy gaming experience
- Addition of EROFS technology for improved system performance and stability
- Improved overall user experience
- Android security patch for the month of July
Once the update is available to your device, there will be an update notification prompting you to perform the update. Otherwise, you can either head down to Settings> System> System update to manually check for the update or open the HiCare app > Tap on the Update button.
Besides the P20 series devices, Huawei is also expected to roll out the EMUI 9.1 update to 9 other Huawei smartphones according to the update schedule released by the company.
