All the fuss about the upcoming Huawei P20 series will be laid to rest in about 24 hours. However, more confirmations of specs of these smartphones are still appearing online. Recently, a leaked spec sheet from a German retailer, Saturn, confirmed most of the specifications of Huawei’s new smartphones. The snapshots of the specs sheet look quite authentic and there is no reason to doubt it.
These smartphones will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 970 with its CPU clocked at 2.36 GHz. However, while Huawei P20 will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the P20 Pro will sport 6GB of RAM with a similar storage option. With 128GB internal memory, it is most unlikely that these smartphones will come with a microSD slot. Huawei P20 will run on EMUI 8.1 based on Android Oreo and its lights will be kept on by a 3,340 mAh battery.
The camera department is the major difference between these smartphones. The P20 Pro sports a huge 40MP primary sensor supported by another 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 5x magnification. There is also a third Monochrome sensor that adds depth and details in low-light photos. Huawei P20 will have 20MP + 12MP rear camera setup. As for the prices, Huawei P20 comes with a €649 price tag while the 6/128 GB Huawei P20 Pro has a €899 price tag.
