The Huawei P30 Pro is now selling with reduced pricing in China on Suning, a retailer from China. The probable reason behind it could be that the retail could be clearing the existing stocks in preparation of the Huawei P40 series that is scheduled to go official in March.
Huawei had launched the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone in March 2019. It was introduced in three choices such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. They were respectively priced at 5,488 Yuan, 5,998 Yun and 6,788 Yuan. In the due course of time, their respective prices came down to 4,488 Yuan, 4,988 Yuan and 5,788 Yuan.
On Suning, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage models are available with even lower prices of 4,388 Yuan and 4,888 Yuan. The 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage continues to sell at the same pricing of 5,788 Yuan. The revised pricings of P30 Pro is yet to reflect on Vmall.
Huawei is yet to confirm on the launch date of the upcoming P40 series. However, speculations claim that the P40 series will be unveiled on March 26. The series is expected to include P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro Premium Edition. Some leaks have claimed that there could be a Porsche Edition too. The Huawei P40 family members will be powered by the Kirin 990 5G chipset.
At the event, the company is also expected to announce the Huawei Mate Xs foldable phone. It is also a Kirin 990 5G device. It is speculated that it may sport a better design and carry a cheaper price tag than the original Mate X from last year.
