Huawei will be launching the Huawei P40 series of smartphones later today through online livestream. The Chinese firm is expected to announce three devices such as Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro+. The latter will be a more powerful version of the Huawei P40 Pro. Famed tipster Roland Quandt has shared some important details of the Huawei P40 Pro+ few before the unveil event.
Huawei P40 Pro+ Specifications
The Huawei P40 Pro features a 6.58-inch OLED display that produces quad HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display is said to be curved towards the edges and has a cutout for two front-facing cameras and a 3D face unlock sensor. The Huawei P40 Pro+ will be arriving with the same-sized screen that supports quad HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Kirin 990 5G which fuels the P40 and P40 Pro phones will be powering the P40 Pro+. Like the P40 Pro, the Plus edition will be featuring a 4,200mAh battery. The P40 Pro supports 40W SuperCharge technology. The Plus is rumored to be blessed with a faster charging technology.
The P40 Pro has 8 GB of RAM whereas the Plus version will be coming with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The camera setup of the device will five cameras which will include dual telephoto sensors that will enable up to 10x optical zoom. The other specs of the Huawei P40 Pro+ could be same as the P40 Pro.
The P40 Pro with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is rumored to land in Europe with a pricing of 1,099 euros. The P40 Pro+ could be priced around 1,299 euros and 1,399 euros in the European markets.
