The highly-anticipated Huawei P40 flagship series will be announced through an online launch event on March 26th. This year, a total of 3 flagship devices are expected from the new iteration flagship series. These devices including Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, as well as Huawei P40 Premium.

Today, the Huawei P40 Pro with model number ELS-NX9 had popped up on GeekBench’s database ahead of it’s official launch. That’s the same device which was recently certified by the Chinese TENAA and 3C authority as well.

According to the P40 Pro’s GeekBench listing, the device had scored an impressive scores of 776 points and 3,182 points for it’s single-core and multi-cores tests respectively.

Besides that, it also revealed that the device will be driven by the Kirin 990 (5G) SoC coupled with a hefty 8GB RAM. On the software-end, the device will run on the latest EMUI 10 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).

Just like any other recently announced flagship devices, the Huawei P40 Pro will also be a 5G-ready phone. The device will be able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes out of the box.

However, there are also speculations that the company may release a 4G version of the device as well. This isn’t surprising since the company had also released recently released a 4G version of the Huawei Mate Xs foldable phone in Singapore.

As usual, the Huawei P40 Pro is tipped to arrive with some groundbreaking camera technology.
