Speculations are rife that the upcoming Huawei P40 series smartphones are among one of those certified handsets.
This year, the P40 series is said to have a total of 3 different models. Two of these models – P40 and P40 Pro – were recently spotted in a couple of near-official renders leaked by @onleaks. Renowned tipster @RODENT950 also partnered with 9TechEleven to bring us a clearer look at the P40 Pro’s rear camera module.

This time round, the Huawei P40 will sport a flat panel while the P40 Pro on the other hand, will feature a revolutionary quad-curved panel that is curved at all four sides. According to rumors, the new OLED panel is said to be capable of supporting up to 90Hz refresh rate as well.
On the rear panel, both the P40 and P40 Pro will feature a rectangular-shaped camera module similar to what we’d seen on the Huawei Nova 6 and Honor V30. For the “Pro” model, it’s redesigned periscope telephoto lens will reportedly be able to achieve up to 10x optical zoom.
Once again, Huawei is expected to rewrite the rules of smartphone photography in their new iteration of the renowned “P” series.
