Although the Huawei Mate 40 series is still fresh from the over, but we’re now starting to hear more information pertaining to the company’s next flagship line – Huawei P50 series.
According to a new report by The Elec, the Huawei P50 series is currently on track to be launched during the first-halve of 2021. Traditionally, the P-series flagship models was introduced in March/ April each year, and it remains to be see whether the P50 devices will launched during the same time frame.

Adding on, the publication also revealed that the upcoming Huawei P50 series devices will be utilizing OLED displays supplied by both Samsung Display and LG Display.
What’s more interesting however, is that the publication also claimed that the P50 series smartphones will be powered by the latest Kirin 9000 chipset which is earlier reported to be in short supply.
However, it is speculated that the sales of Honor recently had freed up supply of the Kirin 9000 chips after a recent report suggested that Honor’s upcoming V40 series flagships will be powered by Dimensity 1000+ chipsets instead.
Sadly speaking, it will probably be even harder to land yourself a P50 series device keeping in mind that the Mate 40 series smartphones are still short in supply in the Chinese market.
