Huawei will be unveiling a high-end Android tablet known as MatePad Pro on November 25th. This device has already been spotted in a couple of leaked renders earlier this month, courtesy of Evan Blass and Android Headlines.
Today, Huawei has also released the first-ever video teaser of the MatePad Pro on it’s Weibo handle. Although there isn’t much information for us to glean from the 16-second long clip, but it do reaffirmed the authenticity of the earlier leaked renders.
Similar to what we’d seen previously, there will be a hole-punched display on the front panel of the MatePad Pro which is certainly something new for a tablet. On the rear side, there will also be a pilled-shaped camera module that houses two camera sensors and a LED flash.
As expected, the new MatePad Pro will also be coming with M-Pen and magnetic keyboard support similar to the current MediaPad M6. It is rumored that the stylus is able to attach itself magnetically to the tablet like what we saw on the iPad Pro.
According to it’s Geekbench listing, the MatePad Pro is expected to be driven by the latest Kirin 990 SoC paired with 6GB worth of RAM. It’s 3C listing also revealed that the tablet will be able to support up to 40W fast-charging.
However, similar to the case of the Mate 30 smartphone series, the MatePad Pro will not be shipped with licensed Google Play apps and services in the global market.
