Through Weibo, Huawei has officially confirmed that the pre-sales of the all new TalkBand B5 has started on Vmall and other e-commerce platforms in China. Huawei’s authorized experience stores and other authorized retailers have also started with the pre-sales of the TalkBand B5.
The TalkBand B5 comes in two strap models such as stainless steel and leather. The latter can be availed in colors like glaial gray, rhythm black and mocha brown. It is equipped with an in-ear Bluetooth headset that features a 1.13-inch touch-sensitive AMOLED display for viewing WeChat, QQ, schedule, SMS and other notifications. It is equipped built-in 3 core audio chip and carries for HD voice and dual MIC noise reduction.
The Huawei TalkBand B5 is an IP57 certified dustproof and waterproof device. It is packed with a 108mAH battery that offers 3 days of battery life and 6 hours of talk time. It carries support for some health-centric features such as heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, sports mode and sedentary reminder. Other features include smart alarm clock, remote control for smartphone’s camera and ability to search for linked phones. The TalkBand B5 will work with smartphones running on Android 4.4 or higher. The pricing of the device is yet to be revealed.
