Huawei unveiled the new MatePad 2022 with 10.4” display & Kirin 710A chipset

During the HUAWEI Spring 2022 Smart Office Launch Event, Huawei has unveiled a slew of products including the new Huawei MatePad 2022 that aims to bring a fantastic tablet experience to users at an accessible price point.

For starter, the new Huawei MatePad 2022 features a 10.4” display which offers ample of screen estate for work and play. It’s an IPS LCD panel that offers a 2K screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and up to 470 nits worth of peak brightness.

As with any other Huawei’s MatePad series slates, the latest model also bring support for second-generation’s Huawei M-Pencil and Smart Keyboard for better productivity on the go.

Speaking of productivity, the Huawei MatePad 2022 also comes with a range of multi-tasking features such as the super handy Multi-Window feature that allows users to display up to 4 apps simultaneously on the screen, as well as the App Dock feature which makes it easier to access apps via App Bubble.

All these features are powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 710A chipset along with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.

To provide a more immersive entertainment for it’s users, the Huawei MatePad 2022 also features a highly capable audio system tuned by audiophile specialist Harmon Kardon.

Last but not the least, the slate is also equipped with a hefty 7,250mAh battery that’s capable of supporting long hours of usage. Likewise, there’s also support for 22.5W charging speed which allows fast recharge whenever it runs out of battery.

For those who’re interested, the Huawei MatePad 2022 is priced at €279 and €319 respective for it’s 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB versions in the European market.
