Huawei Watch Fit Bags Bluetooth Certification Ahead of IFA 2020 Announcement

Huawei is reportedly working on the launch of a new smartwatch called Huawei Watch Fit. A recent leak had revealed the specifications, images, and pricing of the device. It is speculated that the Huawei Watch Fit will be made official at the IFA 2020 tech trade show in September. Ahead of the launch, the smartwatch has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority.

In June, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) body of Russia had approved the Huawei Watch Fit smartwatch. The certification revealed two model numbers namely, TIA-B09 and TIA-B19. The Bluetooth SIG authority has approved the TIA-B19 and TIA-BXX models of the Huawei Watch Fit. The Bluetooth certification reveals that it will arrive with support for Bluetooth 5.0.

Huawei Watch Fit Specifications (Rumored)

The Huawei Watch Fit has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display that offers 456 x 280 pixels resolution. Underneath the display are sensors for ambient light sensors. The watch will come with 5ATM water-resistance.

The smartwatch can be paired with Android 5.0+ and iOS 9.0+ devices. It is also equipped with other sensors like heart rate sensor, GPS, barometer, and accelerometer. It will arrive with support for tracking various health and fitness activities.

The other details of the Huawei Watch Fit are under wraps. rIt is speculated that the Huawei Watch Fit is priced at 119 euros.
