Huawei has announced that the company will be holding an online launch event on February 24th next week. The event will be live-streamed from Barcelona, where Huawei is expected to unveil a series of new products ranging from laptop, tablet, smartwatch, as well as a brand new foldable phone.
The launch invite published by Huawei clearly shows the silhouette of the company’s next foldable phone that is likely to be one of the star attractions during the event. This device, believed to be known as the Mate Xs, will be the company’s response to the current Motorola Razr flip phone and the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
Of course, Huawei isn’t the only smartphone maker which will be holding an online launch event next week due to the abrupt cancellation of the MWC 2020 trade show. It’s sub-brand Honor will also be holding an online launch event on February 25th where they will announce the global variant of the Honor 9X Pro, Honor V30, as well as Honor V30 Pro.
Realme on the other hand, will also be holding their own online launch event for the highly-anticipated Realme X50 Pro flagship on February 24th which coincide with Huawei’s launch event
As for OPPO, the company had chose to postpone the official launch event of their Find X2 flagship to March. Likewise, Xiaomi had also roll back the global launch event of their Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro to an unspecified date as well.
