Shortly after the official renders of the Huawei Y6p was leaked yesterday, the promo video for the device had also been published by Huawei Cambodia. Along with the promo video, Huawei Cambodia also confirmed that the device will be priced at US$139 for its 4GB+64GB model.
This device will be an upgrade over last year’s Huawei Y6 and Y6s. At the front, the Huawei Y6p touts a 6.3-inches LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution. It employs a dewdrop-notch design to accommodate its 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the device sports a pill-shaped camera module which houses a triple-camera array consisting of a 13 megapixels main shooter, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Besides that, there is also a fingerprint sensor at the back as well.
In terms of internals, the Huawei Y6p is driven by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which supports memory expansion via a microSD card.
The device has a massive 5,000mAh battery under the hood which does not come with any fast-charging support. It will run on the latest EMUI 10 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).
For those who’re interested, the Huawei Y6p will be offered in three different colorways including Emerald Green, Phantom Purple and Midnight Black.
