Following the launch of the Tecno POVA 3 smartphone in the Philippines, Tecno will soon be expanding the availability of the device to the Indian market on June 20th next week. Since the phone had already been unveiled previously, pretty much everything pertaining to the phone had already been known except for it’s local pricing and availability which we’ll find out during the upcoming event.
To recap, the Tecno POVA 3 smartphone builds around a 6.9″ IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Likewise, the phone also comes with a dual speakers system and Z-axis linear motor for a more immersive entertainment experience.
Over at the back, the device sports a futuristic design which is available in three different colors such as Electric Blue, Tech Silver and Eco Black. There will be a triple-camera array situated around the upper-left corner, housing a 50 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras presumably for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Tecno POVA 3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which will be coupled with an option between 4GB/ 6GB RAM as well as 64GB/ 128GB storage capacity. Nonetheless, it’s storage capacity can still be expanded via a microSD card if it happens to run out.
Needless to say, one of the key highlight of the new Tecno POVA 3 lies in it’s massive 7,000mAh battery capacity which can be recharged quickly thanks to it’s 25W fast-charging support. The phone will be shipped with a custom HiOS based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
