Time Travel: Here’s our first look at the POCO F4 5G & X4 GT

POCO has officially confirmed that the company will be launching the new POCO F4 5G and X4 GT devices on June 26th next week. Now, renders of the upcoming devices had apparently emerged to reveal the phone’s design ahead of their official unveiling.

POCO F4 5G

Based on the latest details and renders revealed by German publisher Winfuture.de, the POCO F4 5G is expected to arrive as a rebranded model of the Redmi K40S with only some minor differences in their camera hardware.

As such, the phone is likely to arrive with the same 6.67” AMOLED display offering a FHD+ screen resolution alongside a smooth 120Hz refresh rate as well as 1,300 nits of peak brightness. For selfies and video calls, the phone will rely on a 20 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout along it’s forehead area.

In the imaging department, the POCO F4 5G sports a triple-cam setup lead by a 64MP main camera which is an upgrade over the 48MP camera on the Redmi K40S. As for the other two cameras, they share the same 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera.

Under the hood, the POCO F4 5G is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Keeping it’s lights on will be a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast-charging.

POCO X4 GT

Moving on to the POCO X4 GT, the phone will also arrive as a rebranded model but for the Redmi Note 11T Pro instead. Therefore, the phone is expected to arrive with the same 6.6” IPS LCD display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, as well as 16MP front-facing camera.

Photography-wise, the phone will be equipped with a triple-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GW1 main camera. Accompanying the main camera is none other than a 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera for landscape photography as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage in the memory department. The phone will be backed by a respectable 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast-charging.
