Infinix has officially announced a brand new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market dubbed as the Infinix Smart 5A which will take on other budget-friendly smartphones in the market like the OPPO A15 and Realme C11 (2021).
The Infinix Smart 5A sports a 6.52” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s dewdrop-notch.
On the flip-side, the phone features a rectangular camera module which houses a dual-camera setup lead by an 8 megapixels main camera alongside an unspecified sensor. On top of that, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is also present at the back as well.
Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 5A is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A20 chipset which is coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Infinix Smart 5A draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. On the software side of things, the Infinix Smart 5A is shipped with Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Infinix Smart 5A is priced at just INR6,499 (US$87), and is available in a trio of colors namely Midnight Black, Ocean Wave, as well as Quetzal Cyan.
