Last month, Infinix announced it’s first-ever Smart 6 series smartphone in the Indian market known as the Infinix Smart 6 HD that’s targeted towards the budget segment of the smartphone market. Fast forward by three weeks, the company is now back with the new Infinix Smart 6 Plus that comes with an entry-level specs sheet along with a typical-looking design.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new Infinix Smart 6 Plus features a 6.6” TFT display which offers a HD+ screen resolution as well as 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls on the device, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop-notch.
Over at the back, it has a square-shaped camera module which houses a pair of cameras that include an 8 megapixels main camera along with an AI Lens. Other than that, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which will be paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage which can be further expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card. Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which supports a modest 10W charging speed.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as Blue, Polar Black, Light Sea Green, Starry Purple. Pricing and availability of the Infinix Smart 6 Plus however, have yet to be announced at the time of writing.
