Tecno Pova 3 will be launched on May 25th in the Philippines

After launching the Tecno Pova 5G smartphone last year, Tecno will soon be bolstering it’s Pova series lineup with a new addition known as the Tecno Pova 3 which had been spotted in an official listing on Lazada Philippines.

Although the listing itself didn’t reveal much information pertaining to it’s hardware specs, but it did confirmed that the Pova 3 will be announced on May 5th in the Philippines market. Needless to say, the same device is also expected to be launched in other markets apart from the Philippines, though the company has yet to unveil the launch date for other markets.

Based on what we’d learned so far, the Tecno Pova 3 is expected to feature a large 6.9” IPS LCD display which might feature a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Also, there’s likely to be an 8 megapixels front-facing camera which will be flanked by a dual-LED flash to help with selfies under low-light environment.

Coming to the imaging front, the Tecno POVA 3 is also said to feature a 50 megapixels triple-camera array on the rear side, although there isn’t any information pertaining to the other two auxiliary cameras.

Under the hood, the Tecno POVA 3 is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which is an incremental upgrade over alst year’s Helio G85 platform. Memory-wise, the phone is also said to be geared with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is likely to be expandable via a microSD card.

Last but not the least, the Tecno POVA 3 will also allegedly retain it’s massive 7,000mAh battery capacity that comes with 33W fast-charging support. On the software front, the device will be shipped with Android 12 OS out of the box.
