The rumor mill is gradually revealing key information about the iQOO 11 series. In a new leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed what appears to be the highest configuration of the iQOO 11.
According to the tipster, both OnePlus and iQOO are working on performance-driven flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It appears that the tipster could be talking about the OnePlus 11 series and the iQOO 11 series.
While the OnePlus 11 Pro is expected to launch by the end of the year in China, there is no word on the launch timeframe for the iQOO 11 lineup. It appears that the iQOO 11 series may break cover in January 2023.
Coming back to what the tipster said, in the comments section of the Weibo, he revealed that he is talking about the vanilla iQOO 11. He said that the iQOO 11 will feature an E6 AMOLED display that offers 2K resolution. It will be a flat panel, which indicates the Pro model featuring the E6 AMOLED 2K display will have curved edges.
He added that the iQOO 11 Pro will be equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. This appears to be the highest configuration of the device. He also mentioned in the comments of the Weibo post that the iQOO 11 will feature a Sony IMX8-series camera sensor, which will be powered by the Vivo V2 ISP.
The iQOO 11 series is most likely to come preinstalled with the Android 13 OS. The predecessor model supported 120W charging. Hence, it is likely that the successor edition may also offer the same charging capabilities.
