Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, and Honor are expected to announce new compact flagship phones in the first half of 2026 in China. Some reports also claimed that iQOO would join the bandwagon, as it was said to be working on the iQOO 15 Mini. However, a new leak reveals that iQOO may have dropped the idea of launching a compact phone.
iQOO may have stopped working on the iQOO 15 Mini

When asked about similarities between iQOO’s upcoming compact phone and the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, tipster Digital Chat Station responded by saying that iQOO has stopped working on the compact phone.
For those who don’t know, the iQOO 15 Mini was expected to launch alongside the iQOO 15 Ultra, which is also said to be in the works. The 15 Ultra could pack the same internals as the existing iQOO 15 Pro and offer some extra features, including an active cooling fan.
Speaking of compact phones, next year will see the arrival of the Oppo Find X9s, Vivo X300s, OnePlus 15T, and Honor Magic 8 Mini. Except for the OnePlus phone, the other devices are expected to feature the Dimensity 9500 series chip.
The Oppo Find X9s and Vivo X300s are expected to arrive as improved versions of the existing Find X9 and Vivo X300 phones. While the Find X9s is expected to debut with the Find X9 Ultra by March 2026, the Vivo X300s may debut with the X300 Ultra in April 2026.
The OnePlus 15T is also expected to launch in Q2 2026. Likewise, the Honor Magic 8 Mini may debut with the Magic 8 Ultra within the first quarter of 2026.
