Earlier this week, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO confirmed that it will be launching the iQOO 3 5G Transformers Edition on June 1. It is a special edition of the original iQOO 3 phone that debuted in February this year. Ahead of the launch, the iQOO 3 5G Transformers Edition is now listed on JD.com for pre-sale. The listing has revealed the pricing of the special edition variant.
The iQOO 3 5G Transformers Edition listing on JD states that it is priced at 3,998 Yuan for the 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. The handset comes in a special package and has a Transformers logo and iQOO branding on its back. A vertical line with “Monster Inside” text can be also found on the backside of the phone.
The rear shell of the iQOO 3 5G Transformers Edition has a carbon-fiber texture like design. The edges have gold accents and there is a red-colored power button. The package includes the special edition smartphone and customized case and charger adapter.

The iQOO 3 5G has a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED display that produces Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is embedded with a fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform fuels the phone with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone houses a 4,500mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel. The camera housing on its rear has a 48-megapixel main lens, a 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens.
