iQOO recently unveiled the iQOO 3 smartphone. The Snapdragon 865 powered phone is the first 5G phone from the Vivo sub-brand. One of the gripes of the smartphone was that despite featuring gaming capabilities, it came with a 60Hz refresh rate screen. Fresh leaks revealed that iQOO is gearing up to introduce iQOO Neo 3 smartphone. Key details of the phone have been revealed by a reliable tipster from China.
The Chinese tipster has shared two screenshots that were taken from a Vivo phone that has a model number of V1981A. It is expected to break cover as the iQOO Neo 3 phone. The screengrabs have revealed some vital specs of the device.
As it can be seen, the iQOO 3 Neo’s IPS LCD panel will users to switch between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. It will be the first iQOO phone from the company to support refresh rates higher than the conventional 60Hz rate. The display seems to feature a punch-hole at the top-right corner.
The iQOO 3 Neo V1981A smartphone is running on Android 10 OS along with FunTouch OS 10 UI. The phone has 6 GB of RAM and it has an internal storage of 128 GB. There is a possibility that the iQOO Neo 3 could be available in multiple RAM and storage versions.
The iQOO 3 Neo will be the company’s second Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. As of this writing, there is no official confirmation on the existence of the device. Also, there is no word on the pricing of the phone.
