iQOO 5 is all set to break cover on Aug. 17. Its major attraction is that it could be one of the first phones to arrive with support for 120W fast charging. The company has revealed a couple of details on the charging capabilities of the device. Now, it has also revealed some of the key features of the display of the iQOO 5.
The new poster released by the company has confirmed some key information about the iQOO 5’s display. First, the device will be equipped with an AMOLED display with curved edges. It will carry support for the 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The punch-hole screen of the iQOO 5 will also support 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10+. It is likely to be integrated with a fingerprint reader. The company did not reveal the exact size of the screen.
A commercial that shows the various testing that the company carried out on iQOO 5 is now doing rounds on Weibo. It does well to hide the rear design of the phone. However, a look at the internals of the phone suggests that it could be sporting a Vivo X50-like camera module.
The large-sized camera is followed by two smaller cameras and below it seems to be the LED flash. It remains to be seen whether the company provides a 64-megapixel lens or a Samsung GN1 50-megapixel sensor that was seen on the Vivo X50 Pro.
