iQOO is all set to take off covers from the iQOO 8 series of flagship phones on Aug. 17 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company is busy teasing and revealing the key features of the phone. Today, the company confirmed the camera specs of the iQOO 8 Pro.

As can be seen in the poster above, the iQOO 8 Pro has a squarish camera module with three cameras and an LED flash inside it. A closer look at the camera module reveals that it will come equipped with Gimbal Stabilization like the Vivo X-series of flagship phones.

The company has confirmed that the iQOO 8 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens. The third lens could be a macro or a depth sensor. The handset can be seen sporting a textured back. Shown below are the camera samples of the iQOO 8 Pro. These images show that the iQOO 8 Pro will be capable of snapping topnotch images in dim-light conditions.

Last week, a leaked poster of the iQOO 8 Pro had appeared on Weibo. It revealed that apart from the black model, the iQOO 8/8 Pro will also come in a white model featuring the tri-color scheme of BMW M Motorsport. The handset was seen sporting a punch-hole AMOLED panel with a curved edge design. Probably, the company may have settled for a flat display for the iQOO 8 handset.

It is believed that the Vivo phone with the V2141A model number that was recently approved by the 3C authority will be launching as the iQOO 8 Pro in China. Reports have revealed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus chip. It is expected to offer a 2K display, 12 GB of RAM, 4 GB of extended RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, OriginOS based Android 11 OS, and a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
