iQOO 9T Tipped to Launch in July

Last month, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Reports have revealed that several smartphone OEMs are going to announce flagship phones with SD+8G1 in the second half of this year. A new report by 91mobiles reveals that an iQOO flagship featuring the SD+8G1 chip will launch in July.

In the first half of the year, iQOO launched the iQOO 9 SE, the iQOO 9, and the iQOO 9 Pro in India. According to the publication, it has been learned through industry sources that iQOO India is planning to launch a new device named the iQOO 9T. The said flagship will launch as early as July in India.

The report further mentions that the iQOO 9T will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. While it is expected to debut in July, the report specifically mentions that it will break cover after the OnePlus 10T in India.

Hence, it appears that the OnePlus 10T may debut in the first half of July, whereas the iQOO 9T could arrive by the end of the month. The report also mentions a few other specifications of the iQOO 9T, such as an AMOLED panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 120W of fast charge support.

In related news, iQOO is also working on the iQOO 10 series of flagship phones for the Chinese market. Both phones are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The vanilla model may support 100W charging, whereas the Pro model could be the world’s first phone to carry support for 200W fast charging.
