During the announcement of it’s new OriginOS Ocean UI, iQOO has confirmed that the company will be launching the much anticipated iQOO Neo 5s in the Chinese market on December 20th.
This device, according to past reports, is expected to be a high-end model which features a 6.56” OLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the imaging side of things, the iQOO Neo 5s is expected to feature a triple-cam setup at the back which is lead by a 48 megapixels Sony IMX598 main camera that’s likely to be accompanied by an ultra-wide unit and a depth/ macro camera. Upfront, it’s also tipped to arrive with a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 5s is reportedly powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department.
Although there wasn’t any information on it’s battery capacity, but the phone could carry support for 66W fast-charging. Most importantly, it will be the first iQOO phone to be shipped with OriginOS Ocean out of the box.
Apart from that the iQOO Neo 5s, the company might also be announcing a more affordable model known as the iQOO Neo5 SE that’s powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ chipset.
