Tecno Mobile has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Tecno Spark Go 2022 which will be succeeding the Spark Go 2021 that was launched last year.
For starter, the Tecno Spark Go 2022 features a 6.5” HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refreh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes. Interestingly, there’s also a flash unit along the upper bezel to help with taking selfies in low-light environment.
Around the rear side of the phone, it has a rectangular camera island which is home to a dual-cam setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera along with an unspecified auxiliary camera. Other than that, there’s alson a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication as well.
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark Go 2022 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A20 chipset which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which doesn’t appears to feature any form of fast-charging solution. As usual, the phone is shipped with a lightweight Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Tecno Spark Go 2022 is available in two color options namely Turquoise Cyan and Atlantic Blue. It is priced at Rs.9,990 (US$116) for it’s 2GB+32GB trim in the Bangladeshi market.
