iQOO Neo 7 to Feature the Dimensity 9000 Plus

The iQOO Neo 7 is scheduled to debut on Oct. 20 in China. It will replace the iQOO Neo 6, which debuted in the home market with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip earlier this year. iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 7 will have the newest chip from MediaTek.

The Neo 7 will have an independent display chip, according to iQOO. While it hasn’t elaborated on the display chip, it seems that it will assist in offering an optimized visual experience. It also revealed that the Dimensity 9000 Plus would be present under the hood of the Neo 7. At present, it is the most powerful MediaTek chip available on the market.

The landing page of the phone available on Vivo China’s website claims that it has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The smaller text that can be seen at the bottom of the image reveals that the device will come in a 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configuration. Rumors are rife that the base model of the phone will offer 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

iQOO is yet to reveal the other specifications of the Neo 7. The official image of the phone that has been released by the brand reveals that it will feature a triple camera unit on the back. The setup seems to be equipped with a periscope zoom lens.

Other reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo 7 will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that offers 120W fast charging. For photography, it will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main camera.
