iQOO has officially confirmed that the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will debut on July 11 in China. The device will be an updated version of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which debuted with the Dimensity 9300 chip onboard, in December 2023 in China. Today, Jia Jingdong, Vice President for the Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, released a Weibo to reveal some of the key specifications of the device.
iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ specifications revealed
Jia Jingdong revealed that the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The inclusion of said chipset suggests that it will compete with the likes of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, Realme GT 6, and Redmi K70 Ultra in the Chinese market.
For a better gaming experience, the Neo 9S Pro+ will have the Q1, a dedicated chip for handling graphics. Under the hood, the device will feature a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. He confirmed that it will be a slim device measuring 7.99mm in thickness.
The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will offer enhanced security thanks to the inclusion of an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. On the back, the device will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. It will come preinstalled with Android 14, with a layer of OriginOS 4 on top.
In comparison, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro features the Dimensity 9300 chipset, a 5,160mAh battery, and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. It appears that the rest of the specifications of the Neo 9S Pro+ will be identical to the Neo 9 Pro. At present, the global market’s launch date remains unclear.
