Last month, iQOO announced the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform powered iQOO 7 flagship phone in China. Soon after its launch, the rumor mill revealed about the existence of a new iQOO phone called the iQOO Neo5. Last week, a leaked image of the alleged Neo5 appeared on Weibo. It revealed the front design and key specs of the smartphone. A new leak has spilled some information about the Neo5.
According to a Chinese tipster, the iQOO Neo5 will be arriving with Samsung E3 AMOLED display that will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. It is expected to arrive with support for 66W / 88W fast charging. The tipster claimed that these details of the phone are confirmed.
However, he does not seem to be sure about the camera specs, battery size, and other features of the iQOO Neo5. He mentioned that the phone may house a battery of around 4,400mAh capacity and a triple camera setup featuring a Sony IMX598 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2 megapixel lens.
The Neo5 is also expected to arrive with other features like dual speakers, linear motor, and aluminum alloy mid-frame. Leaked information that appeared last week revealed that it could be supporting a Full HD+ resolution, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of native storage, and Android 11 OS.
In the recent past, two Vivo phones with model numbers V2045A and V2055A have been spotted with Snapdragon 870. It remains to be seen which of these phones arrives in the Chinese market as the iQOO Neo5.
