iQOO is likely to announce the iQOO Neo5s flagship phone soon in China. The reason behind it is that its images are now doing rounds on Weibo. One of the images has shared the key specifications of the smartphone.
Both the images have revealed that the iQOO Neo5s will feature a punch-hole display with a slightly thick chin. Its right edge is fitted with a volume controller and a power key. Unfortunately, the rear design of the phone is still a mystery. The moniker of the device suggests that it will be an updated version of the Snapdragon 870 powered iQOO Neo5 handset, which debuted in March this year in China.
iQOO Neo5s Specifications (Rumored)
The iQOO Neo5s’ other image shows that it will be a flagship phone featuring the Snapdragon 888. The SoC will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 128 GB of built-in storage. It will be one of the first devices to offer an out-of-the-box experience of the OriginOS Ocean UI, which is slated to debut on Dec. 16 in China. It is yet to be confirmed whether the Neo5s will run on Android 11 or Android 12.
Past reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo5s will come with a 6.56-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It may come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage.
The Neo 5s’ rear shell may feature an OIS-ready Sony IMX598 48-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
