Infinix Mobility has announced a new entry-level smartphone in the African markets known as the Infinix Hot 11. This device however, shouldn’t be mixed up with the model that was launched in the Indian market recently, as it features a largely different design and specs despite bearing the same moniker.
Right off the bat, the Infinix Hot 11 features a 6.82” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that’s housed within a waterdrop notch.
At the back, it’s triple-camera setup is housed within a rectangular camera bump along with a LED flash. These cameras include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of auxiliary cameras. Other than that, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 11 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, instead of the Helio G70 chip which was found in the Indian variant. In the memory department, the phone also features 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Infinix Hot 11 is fitted with a massive 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 10W charging speed. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 out of the box.
